Hercules，宙斯神的兒子，然而由於地獄冥王Hades有武裝叛變的打算，這個新生的兒子將會破壞他的大計，於是便將他變為凡人，企圖暗殺，但是失敗了。Hercules雖為凡人，卻依然擁有神力。直到他發現自己是宙斯神的兒子，一心想要回奧林帕斯山，在訓練的途中也遇見了美麗的女主角－Megara，孰知Megara竟是Hades的手下，Hades便利用此機會要脅叛變，但在Meg和教練Phil的開導下，又重拾神力，對抗強敵。
